What do I actually get with a monthly plan?

A dedicated accountant working your books full-time (160 hours a month), oversight from a senior accountant, and the scope listed in your plan — bookkeeping, reconciliations, month-end close and reporting as applicable. Software licences stay in your name; we work inside your environment.

Are review and quality checks included?

Yes. Every engagement includes a second-level review by a senior accountant or account manager before deliverables reach you, at no extra cost.

Is software or subscription cost included?

Accepted Answer

No. QuickBooks, Xero, Bill.com, Gusto and similar subscriptions remain billed to you directly, so you keep ownership of your data and vendor relationships.

What is not covered by a standard plan?

Tax return filing and audit representation, historical catch-up of more than three months, and system migrations are scoped separately as one-time projects.

When am I billed?

Monthly plans are billed in advance on the first business day of each month. Hourly engagements are billed in arrears on the first business day of the following month, with a timesheet showing the work performed.

Is there a minimum term or lock-in?

No long-term contract. Plans run month to month and you can cancel or change tier with 30 days' written notice.

What happens if I need more hours than my plan covers?

Extra hours are billed at your plan's hourly rate, agreed in advance. If overages repeat for two months, we recommend moving to the next tier so you pay less overall.

How do payments work?

We invoice in USD and accept international wire, SWIFT, ACH bank transfer, and major credit cards worldwide. Payment terms are net 7 for monthly retainers and net 15 for project work.

How long does onboarding take?

Typically 5 to 7 business days from signed agreement to first live work: discovery call and scoping (days 1-2), secure access to your systems (days 2-3), documentation of your close process (days 3-5), then your accountant starts.

When do I see the first deliverables?

Reconciliations and AP/AR updates begin in the first week. Your first full month-end close package lands within the first complete close cycle after go-live.

What do you need from us to start?

Read or user-level access to your accounting software and banking portals, a list of active vendors and customers, and one point of contact for questions. We supply the access checklist on day one.

Can we change tier or add roles later?

Yes. Tier changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle, and additional roles can usually be staffed within two weeks.
